Melissa Ellis (II) is an Emmy award-winning re-recording mixer and assistant music supervisor with a high level of diplomacy and noticeable determination which carved out her role today as a substantial mixer.
Education[]
Born on November 6th, 1967, Ellis attended UNC Wilmington and a Los Angeles Recording Workshop and has experience in engineering at Hanna-Barbera Studios.
Career[]
Ellis started her career as an assistant music supervisor, working on The Wizard of Oz (TV Series), The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3, The Real Ghostbusters, Captain N: The Game Master, The New Super Mario World, and G.I. Joe. In 1992, she began work as a sound editor for the Back to the Future TV series, then moved on to become a dialogue editor for Bonkers and The Pink Panther (TV Series). Ellis is credited for working as a re-recording mixer on Mighty Ducks, Spider-Man (TV Series), 101 Dalmatians: The Series, RoboCop: Alpha Commando, Hercules (TV Series), Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, Jackie Chan Adventures, Brandy & Mr. Whiskers, Kim Possible, Fish Hooks, Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters, Phineas and Ferb, Gravity Falls, and Star vs. the Forces of Evil.
